What's included?
The Motability Scheme provides a comprehensive package that covers everything you need for stress-free motoring:
- A Brand-New Vehicle: Choose from a wide range of vehicles, including Peugeot and Vauxhall, and get a new car every three years.
- Insurance: The scheme includes comprehensive insurance for the driver and up to two named drivers.
- Servicing and Maintenance: Your vehicle’s routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs are fully covered, keeping your car in top condition.
- Breakdown Assistance: 24/7 breakdown cover from the RAC ensures you’re never left stranded.
- Road Tax: The cost of road tax is included for the duration of your lease.
- Tyre Replacement: The cost of replacing tyres is also included in the scheme.
- Adaptations: If you require any vehicle adaptations, these can be made to suit your needs, with many available at no extra cost.
How much does it cost?
The Motability Scheme is funded by exchanging part or all of your eligible disability benefits, such as the Enhanced Rate of PIP or Higher Rate DLA. Depending on the vehicle you choose, you may also need to make a single upfront Advance Payment.
