VAUXHALL CORSA ELECTRIC ENHANCED FOR 2025 WITH IMPROVED RANGE AND VEHICLE-TO-LOAD CAPABILITIES

Vauxhall is continuing to make electric mobility more accessible by improving the range of the Corsa Electric. Thanks to improvements in battery technology and drivetrain efficiency, the Corsa Electric Long Range now offers a range of up to 266 miles (WLTP), an increase of 14 miles over the previous model’s 252 miles.

The Corsa Electric Long Range features a 51kWh battery and a powerful 156PS motor, with an enhanced range of 266 miles (WLTP) achieved through advancements in nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) battery technology and increased drivetrain efficiency. The Corsa Electric Long Range now consumes 4.3 mi/kWh.

Throughout its life, the Corsa Electric has received regular improvements to its range. The original version was first unveiled in August 2019 with a maximum range of 205 miles. In July 2023, the new Corsa Facelift was unveiled featuring a range of 246 miles. Now, Corsa Electric, as of 1st April 2025, will feature a maximum range of 266 miles (WLTP).

Vauxhall is also introducing Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality for the first time on the Corsa Electric Long Range, exclusively available with the 51kWh battery and 156PS electric motor from May 2025. This innovative feature allows drivers to power external devices up to 3.6kW and 16A, such as power tools or camping equipment. This technology uses energy stored in the vehicle's traction battery, adding a new level of versatility and practicality to everyday electric driving.

The bi-directional charging capability is enabled via the standard on-board charging cable and V2L gun, available as an accessory through Vauxhall retailers. This offers customers additional flexibility for their energy needs, whether at home or on the road.

When it comes to recharging, the Corsa Electric Long Range can recharge to 80% in under 30 minutes at a 100kW DC rapid charger, helping drivers get back on the road quickly.

Customers now benefit from a greater range for the same price. The Corsa Electric Long Range starts from £28,900 OTR for the recently announced YES Edition, which combines practicality with standout design and a high level of specification at an affordable price. Customers can choose from five colours, including three bold new colours exclusive to the YES Edition (Eucalyptus Green, Cobalt Blue and Kiss Red), complemented by a colour-matched dashboard strip, door inserts and carpet floor mats. Premium features are included as standard, including heated front seats and a heated vegan leather steering wheel, rear LED taillights, auto-dimming rearview mirror, tinted rear windows and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

As part of Vauxhall’s efforts to simplify going electric, the Corsa Electric Long Range is also available with the brand’s Electric All In offer, which includes access to a variety of charging solutions to help make electric mobility even easier.

Customers benefit from eight years of comprehensive roadside assistance, including emergency charging assistance. Electric All In also includes £500 credit which can be used towards either an Ohme home wallbox installation or Tesco charging credit or Octopus Electroverse credit, as well as 10,000 miles’ worth of free home charging when switching to the Intelligent Octopus GO home energy tariff1. Finally, there is a complimentary six-month subscription to Connect Plus, giving access to the full suite of connected services available through Vauxhall Connect.

Vauxhall offers a fully electric version of every car and van model in its line-up, reaffirming its dedication to an electric future.
