VAUXHALL ANNOUNCES NEW ELECTRIC OFFERS AND CONFIRMS ELECTRIC CAR GRANT ACROSS THE RANGE

Vauxhall has announced new offers on electric cars by pre-emptively applying the Electric Car Grant to its entire range, as well as offering 0% PCP finance on most of its electric models – all designed to make the switch to electric as attainable as possible.

Steve Catlin, Managing Director, Vauxhall, commented: “These new offers bring clarity now to customers who were waiting to see which vehicles were set to be eligible for the new Electric Car Grant – with customers able to save £1,500 across our entire electric car range, as well as benefit from attractive new PCP finance offers. The switch to electric and onward running costs are also made lower thanks to our Electric All In package. We’re proud to offer a fully electric version of every car we make and now there’s never been a better time to switch.”

The offers include the £1,500 Electric Car Grant – applied to all Vauxhall electric cars from today, ahead of official confirmation of eligibility from the Office of Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) – as well as 0% PCP finance across most models, alongside a manufacturer deposit contribution of up to an additional £1,500. The existing ‘Electric All In’ package remains – and that adds another £500 towards a home EV charger or public charging.

The 0% PCP finance is available on the electric versions of Corsa, Mokka, Frontera (44kWh), Astra and Astra Sports Tourer across all core trim levels (excluding special editions). It is available to retail buyers and requires a 20% customer deposit with payments spread across 48 months. Vauxhall will offer a deposit contribution of £1,500 on Corsa Electric and Mokka Electric, and £500 towards Astra Electric and Astra Sports Tourer Electric – these are all on the 0% APR offer.

Elsewhere in the range, the Grandland Electric now benefits from the early £1,500 Electric Car Grant in addition to an enhanced £2,500 deposit contribution on 7.9% APR PCP finance – enabling customers to go electric for £24 per month less than the equivalent Hybrid version, with the same £2,000 deposit.

The ‘Electric All In’ package (full details below) adds a further £500 towards the cost of a Ohme home wallbox, or £500 towards public charging credit, as well as 10,000 miles of free home charging when switching to Intelligent Octopus GO.**

These offers not only make the entire range more affordable but they also mean that the top-of-the-range Ultimate versions – that come with many high-end and luxury features – are also highly attainable. For example, the recently revised Mokka Electric Ultimate comes with the following spec highlights:

The Mokka Electric Ultimate 156PS is now just £361 per month with a 20% customer deposit, £1,500 Vauxhall deposit contribution and £1,500 Electric Car Grant - plus the Electric All In package. The Mokka Electric GS is £334 per month on the same terms.

On similar terms, the Corsa Electric Ultimate 136PS 50kWh is now only £300 per month, the Frontera Electric GS 44kWh family SUV is just £177 per month and the Astra Electric GS 156PS 54kWh hatchback is £329 per month.

Electric All In

Available in addition to the finance offers for retail electric vehicle buyers, Vauxhall’s Electric All In package makes the transition to electric easier than ever with access to a variety of charging solutions to provide the ultimate in peace of mind electric motoring.

With the Electric All In offer, retail customers of Vauxhall’s electric range benefit from eight years of comprehensive roadside assistance, including emergency charging assistance.

In addition to extended roadside support, Electric All In retains Vauxhall’s popular charging offer. This includes £500 credit which can be used towards either an Ohme home wallbox installation, Tesco charging credit or Octopus Electroverse charging credit. New to the offer is 10,000 miles’ worth of free home charging when switching to the Intelligent Octopus GO home energy tariff, providing significant cost savings for EV owners.**
