PEUGEOT OPENS ORDERS FOR MOST POWERFUL VERSIONS OF THE E-3008 AND E-5008 TO DATE – THE DUAL MOTOR 325

PEUGEOT is introducing a third powertrain option for its E-3008 and E-5008 models. The new Dual Motor version features an additional electric motor for the rear axle, combining a total power output of 325hp with the efficiency and safety of all-wheel drive. Orders are open now for the flagship Dual Motor Launch Edition, with first deliveries expected from Q4 2025.

After nearly doubling its electric vehicle sales in 2024, PEUGEOT continues to expand its already extensive electric line-up, comprising 12 all-electric models, to meet the varied needs of UK motorists.

PEUGEOT is now expanding its mid-sized SUV line-up with the new Dual Motor Electric 73kWh 325 powertrain. This addition joins the highly efficient Electric 210 and the Long Range Electric 230, which boasts some of the best range figures in the SUV market.

The PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008 Dual Motors combine the standard 213hp front-wheel drive electric motor with an additional 112hp electric motor for the rear wheels. Together, they offer all-wheel drive functionality with a total power output of 325hp and a maximum torque of 509Nm.

With the PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008 Dual Motor, driving pleasure and total electric performance reach new levels. The 325hp allows for dynamic acceleration and throttle responsiveness: the PEUGEOT E-3008 Dual Motor accelerates from 0-62mph in just 6 seconds (6.5 seconds for the PEUGEOT E-5008) and from 50 to 75mph in 3.8 seconds (4 seconds for the PEUGEOT E-5008). This reinforces PEUGEOT’s commitment to delivering the best driving sensations and dynamic performance for its models.

The all-wheel drive of the PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008 Dual Motor ensures maximum efficiency and safety in all conditions, with four driving modes available:

Normal Mode: To optimise daily efficiency, only the front motor and wheels are prioritised; the maximum power is limited to 313hp and maximum torque to 450Nm. Depending on the driving conditions, the rear motor and wheels automatically engage. During strong acceleration (kick-down), both motors deliver their full potential.

4WD Mode: The two motors operate continuously, with power distributed 50/50 between the front and rear axles for optimal grip, especially on slippery surfaces. The ESP and traction control systems adopt specific management strategies to enhance grip with maximum power and torque also available.

Sport Mode: The two motors operate continuously, with power distributed 60/40 between the front and rear axles for a dynamic and efficient performance. Maximum power and torque are available with the steering and accelerator pedal, also adopting a Sport setting, providing increased responsiveness.

Eco Mode: The front motor and wheels are prioritised with the maximum power limited to 213hp and maximum torque to 343Nm. During strong acceleration (kick-down), the rear motor automatically engages, and both motors deliver their full potential. The air conditioning and accelerator pedal also adopt an Eco setting.

Hill Assist Descent Control is standard on Dual Motor versions, which reduces the risk of slip or loss of control of the vehicle when descending, whether going forwards or in reverse.

The PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008 Dual Motors extend driving pleasure thanks to their 73kWh usable Lithium-ion NMC battery, offering a range of up to 303 miles and 289 miles respectively (WLTP combined cycle in Normal mode). As with every all-electric PEUGEOT vehicle, the charging time from 20% to 80% on DC rapid chargers is approximately 30 minutes. An 11kW three-phase onboard charger is fitted as standard to both models.

Specification

PEUGEOT is now opening orders for the Dual Motor versions of the PEUGEOT E-3008 and E-5008 with an exclusive ‘Launch Edition’ trim, offering a high-end specification. This includes all the standard equipment of the top GT trim, such as a Black Diamond roof and rear spoiler, Pixel LED matrix headlights, motorised tailgate and the PEUGEOT i-Connect® Advanced infotainment system with connected navigation and wireless smartphone mirroring and charging, heated front seats, and adaptive cruise control.

In addition to the GT trim equipment, the Dual Motor ‘Launch Edition’ versions feature 20-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and a standard heat pump for enhanced efficiency in very cold weather. The interior is also upgraded with black Alcantara® upholstery and an embossed PEUGEOT shield emblem in the front headrests. The front seats feature 10-way electric adjustment, a massage function with a choice of five patterns and three intensities, adaptive bolsters and a memory function for the driver’s seat. Both the front and rear seats are also heated. A panoramic opening sunroof and eight-colour ambient lighting add to the premium feel, while the Clean Cabin system optimises interior air quality.

On the E-3008 Dual Motor ‘Launch Edition’, audiophiles can enjoy the premium Focal® 10-speaker Hi-Fi system, consisting of four tweeters, four speakers, a central speaker and a subwoofer.

Both ‘Launch Edition’ models come standard with the 360° Vision & Drive Assist Pack, featuring four HD cameras for improved visibility when manoeuvring, rear cross traffic alert, long-range blind spot monitoring and flank guard protection. Highway Assist 2.0 enables semi-autonomous driving thanks to Lane Positioning Assist, Semi-Automatic Lane Change and Recommended Speed Adaptation.
