E-308 & E-408 JOIN OTHER PEUGEOT MODELS ALREADY ELIGIBLE FOR £1,500 ELECTRIC CAR GRANT

PEUGEOT can confirm that the E-308, E-308 SW and E-408 officially join the E-208, E-2008 and E-RIFTER in being eligible for the UK government’s Electric Car Grant (ECG), saving customers £1,500 off their list price.

PEUGEOT now offers six all-electric models from its range that are eligible for the ECG, providing customers with a wider choice of eligible vehicles to make going electric more accessible. The E-308, E-308 SW, and E-408 models join the E-208, E-2008, and E-RIFTER, which were previously announced as being eligible for the £1,500 government grant. The Electric Car Grant will be available across every electric powertrain, as well as on all trim levels.

PEUGEOT already demonstrates a determination to support its customers in transitioning to more sustainable mobility thanks to PEUGEOT CARE*. Confident in the quality and reliability of its all-electric vehicles, PEUGEOT offers up to 8 years/100,000 miles peace-of-mind coverage across its electric passenger car range.

The PEUGEOT E-308 and E-308 SW combine driving pleasure, refined design and advanced technology. The current E-308 and E-308 SW are powered by a 156hp (115kW) electric powertrain, providing a range of up to 258 miles (WLTP combined). Globally revealed this week, the new E-308 and E-308 SW offer an extended range of up to 281 miles (WLTP combined), introduce PEUGEOT’s latest front-end styling – including the illuminated emblem and distinctive three-claw lighting signature – and will be available from Autumn 2025.

The new E-408 has an innovative and unexpected fastback design and is powered by the same 58.4kWh (55.4kWh usable) battery as the new E-308, but with instead with a 210hp (157kW) electric motor for an electric range of up to 280 miles (WLTP combined). With generous power and 345Nm of instant torque, the all-electric drive of the E-408 delivers pure driving pleasure.

Nicola Dobson, Managing Director, PEUGEOT UK, said: “With six of our all-electric models now confirmed for the Electric Car Grant, PEUGEOT can give customers more opportunities to benefit from lower upfront costs and greater choice. From the popular E-208 through to the capacious E-RIFTER, and now E-308 and E-408, we have one of the broadest electric line-ups on the market. This Government support is welcome to help make the switch to electric more accessible and give consumers greater confidence to choose the electric PEUGEOT that best fits their lifestyle, while driving forward the UK’s transition to cleaner mobility.”

PEUGEOT EV Contribution Enhancements

In addition to the £1,500 Electric Car Grant, PEUGEOT has strengthened its electric vehicle offers with PEUGEOT Contributions enhanced by up to £4,500. This delivers significant savings, reducing four-year monthly PCP payments by up to £145.
