VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
Location: Taylors Select & Ford Service, Berry Way, Skegness
Hours: 8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday, no weekend work
Salary: Vehicle Technician - Up to £36,000 OTE
We’re looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician at Taylors Select & Ford Service in Skegness.
We operate a small, dedicated team within our Ford Service Centre, built on long-standing relationships with our valued local customers. As a family-run business, we take great pride in delivering exceptional service and workmanship, supported by a long-serving and stable management team.
About the role:
As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of workshop activities, including servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance to Ford manufacturer standards.
We are seeking someone with at least 2 years of experience as a Vehicle Technician.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Completing servicing, maintenance, and repair work efficiently and accurately
- Performing diagnostic checks and identifying faults effectively
- Carrying out warranty and recall work to manufacturer guidelines
- Ensuring all work meets the highest quality and safety standards
- Supporting the smooth running of a small, supportive team
About you:
We’re looking for someone who is:
- IMI Level 3 qualified (essential)
- At least 2 years’ experience in a technician role
- Professional, organised, and focused on quality
- Eager to develop through Ford manufacturer training at the Henry Ford Academy
- A team player who enjoys working in a relaxed, customer-focused environment
