SERVICE ADVISOR

Location: Taylors Vauxhall, Main Road (A52), Butterwick
Hours: 8am-5.30pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £24,000-27,000 (dependent on experience)

We are looking to recruit an experienced Service Advisor to join our busy aftersales team at Taylors Vauxhall, on the outskirts of Boston.

About the role:

As a Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive the highest standard of service from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting and assisting customers with service enquiries
  • Booking in vehicles and managing service schedules
  • Liaising with the technical workshop to keep track of the vehicles' progress and ensuring the vehicle is ready at the promised time
  • Providing exceptional customer service, including establishing customers onward travel arrangements, updating customers whilst their vehicle is in the workshop, handing over vehicles after service work and maintaining ongoing relationships with your customers
  • Delivering a professional, friendly, and efficient experience at all times

About you:

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Customer-focused and well-presented, with excellent communication skills
  • Highly organised and able to manage a busy workload under pressure
  • Possessing strong interpersonal skills, with excellent time management and organisational ability
  • Confident with IT systems and administration tasks
  • Experienced within a Service Advisor role (at least 1 year preferred)
  • Familiar with Kerridge and other dealer management systems (preferred)
