AFTERSALES ADVISOR

Location: Taylors Select & Ford Service, Berry Way, Skegness
Hours: 8am-5.30pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £31,000 OTE

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Aftersales Advisor to join our small but busy team at Taylors in Skegness.

Our workshop specialises in the servicing, diagnosis, and repair of Ford vehicles, alongside all makes of used cars, and supports a large and loyal customer base across the Skegness area.

About the role:

As an Aftersales Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive the highest standard of service from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customers with service and repair enquiries
  • Booking vehicles into the workshop and managing service schedules efficiently
  • Liaising closely with the workshop to monitor job progress and ensure vehicles are ready on time
  • Providing service updates and managing customer expectations throughout the visit
  • Supporting parts-related tasks, including parts ordering and coordination with the workshop
  • Arranging onward travel for customers where required
  • Handing over vehicles after service work and maintaining ongoing relationships with your customers
  • Delivering a consistently professional, friendly, and customer-focused experience

About you:

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Customer-focused and well-presented, with excellent communication skills
  • Highly organised and able to manage a busy workload under pressure
  • Possessing strong interpersonal skills, with excellent time management and organisational ability
  • Confident with IT systems and administration tasks
  • Experienced within a Service/Parts Advisor role (at least 1 year preferred)
  • Familiar with Kerridge and other dealer management systems (preferred)
