AFTERSALES ADVISOR

Location: Taylors Vauxhall, Main Road (A52), Butterwick

Salary: £24,000 - £30,000

Job description:

A rare opportunity has become available for an Aftersales Advisor to join our busy and experienced aftersales team at our Vauxhall dealership in Butterwick. As an Aftersales Advisor, you will be the key point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for servicing, repairs, and maintenance. Your role is to provide clear communication, expert advice, and a seamless experience from booking to collection. The ideal candidate will have experience as either an Aftersales Advisor or in a similar role.

Regular hours of work are 8.00am until 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Checking customers in and out.
• Listen to customer concerns and address them appropriately.
• Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Liaising with the workshop for progress and technical advice.
• Advise customers of additional products and services where appropriate.
• Updating customers with progress on their vehicle.
• Ensuring all card and cash payments are taken correctly.

Requirements:

• Valid UK driver's licence (required)
• At least 1 year's experience in a Service Advisor role (required)
• Enthusiasm to deliver and continuously improve product knowledge through a dedicated manufacturer training program
• A well presented individual with a desire and character to succeed.
• The passion and desire to achieve the highest standard of customer care, measured through Vauxhall's CSI program.
• A flexible approach with the ability to adjust in a changing / busy environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organisation and administrative skills.
• Knowledge of Kerridge dealer management systems (preferred)
